论普世宗教
辨喜对普世宗教的愿景，并非创立一种取代现有信仰的新教义，而是承认一切宗教皆为通往同一终极真理的不同道路。这一思想在1893年芝加哥宗教议会上得到最令人难忘的宣示，其根基在于吠檀多的洞见——无限的神性不能被任何单一的形式、名称或经典所穷尽。他呼吁每种宗教在保有自身个性的同时汲取其他宗教的精神，从而将宗派纷争转化为以相互尊重和共同愿望为纽带的信仰和谐。
